Chinese fashions help launch polytech's student hub

 

Models from Ali McD Models Ltd wear Shanghai University of Engineering Science student Guo Shiyao's designs on the runway at Otago Polytechnic last night.

The ''School of Fashion'' show was held in the recently completed student hub, its first major event.

It was the first time for several years the fashion event had been held on the main campus.

The Shanghai students were part of the Shanghai Dunedin Sister City Fashion Communication Project.

Their designs were followed by those of the school's resident students.

The main focus of the show was the third-year graduate collections.

The designs will be displayed at the polytech in a public exhibition.
